WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DAY 2019

The General Tinio Water District (GTWD) joins the national celebration of World Environmental Health Day on September 26, 2019. The said event is aimed to shed light on the important work of environmental health around the world by raising the global awareness about today’s most pressing environmental health concerns.
In observance of this year’s WEHD, the DOH and DENR led its celebration with the theme “Malusog na Kapaligiran, Sandigan ng Tunay na Kaunlaran.”

TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY - SEPTEMBER 21, 2019

The General Tinio Water District (GTWD), led by it's General Manager, Mrs. Jocelyn C. Pajarillaga, participated in the Tree Planting Activity organized by the Local Government of General Tinio last September 21, 2019 at Upper Tabuating Irigation Project, Brgy. Nazareth, Gen.Tinio. The activity was spearheaded by Municipal Mayor Engr. Isidro T. Pajarillaga.
Participation in the Tree Planting Activity is part of the GTWD's efforts to promote sustainable natural resources utilization and the mitigation of the effect of El Niño. This is in line with Executive Order No. 43, Section 2 which enumerated the Key Result Areas of our Social Contract specifically item letter E or the Integrity of the environment and climate change adaptation and mitigation.
The GTWD is in full support of this meaningful undertaking.

Our office is open to serve the public Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm except holidays. (no noon break)
